Re-enlisted at age 47 after 9-11

Hey fellow Oath Keepers,

I am a former US Navy Corpsman who served with the 2nd Marine Division.

After 9/11, I simply had to do something, sooo I reapplied to the Navy and was told they had no use for a guy my age (47) at the time. Went and applied to the US Army National Guard (NH) and was told they'd love to have me serve.

Long story short, I wound up in Paktika, Afghanistan attached to SOCOM as a Civil Affairs Medic taking care of local nationals and getting intel on Al Qaeda, and the Taliban.

Served
there in 2004-2005.

It was a life changing event for me to serve our country again.

And since my return from OEF, there is a new danger on the horizon. There are those to whom we entrust with preserving our liberties who seem hell-bent on our constitutions destruction.

I have taken the oath twice now, and have never disavowed mine. I am proud to stand with my fellow brothers in pledging my life in defense
of liberty!

Never, Ever Surrender

Dennis Patrick Cimino
Oathkeeper, U.S. Navy, 1973-1979, honorably discharged Vietnam era veteran.

I will indeed stand by; "NOT ON OUR WATCH", or in this case; "NOT ON MY WATCH.."

"there will come a day in the near future when all of us who are signatories to this renewed, reaffirmed OATH, will have to once again be called upon to put ourselves into harm's way for the survival of the U.S. Constitution, and the Geneva Conventions, and RULE OF LAW."

I will never, ever give in to the pressure to do otherwise and abandon these principles.

We must never, ever surrender.

I promise to uphold the oath and to spread the word

NUTS! I promise to uphold the oath and to spread the word! I am an
ex-Navy Machinist Mate 2nd Class, and I have not set aside my Oath, nor
shall I.

The times we are in will test our foundational beliefs and resolve.
This blogspot is an awesome way to spread the word and remind each other
of our shared values, and our promise to defend the document which
codifies our freedoms.

If you are interested, I have drafted an official petition for redress
of grievances to the federal government, that I can send. The more that
we can get to sign on, the better.

In Faith,

Active Duty Aviation Ordnanceman 2nd Class is an Oath Keeper

My name is AO2(AW) Thibodeau, Philip D.

I am unafraid coming out to my fellow brothers and sisters that I am a OathKeeper, it is illegal to protest while in the military in and out of uniform, this I know. OathKeepers are not Protesters but rather speakers of truth against unlawful orders that MAY be handed down. I also can't get in trouble for something I haven't even failed to do as ordered.

I joined the Navy on 25AUG99, I am from Waterford MI and went in as soon as I graduated from HS. I did three tours aboard the Aircraft Carriers, Lincoln 99-01(West Pac 00), Ronald Reagan 01-05(SA Round the Horn, Plankowner), Roosevelt 05-08(Med Cruise 06 OIF 3). And now I am in NMC Conus West Det Fallon.

I dealt with all aspects of Bombs and Missiles; Building,Breakout,
Repair of Bomb Racks and Launchers and Support Equipment.

I first found out about the OathKeepers from a radio show I listen to everyday. Mr. Rhodes was on Alex Jones and I really connected with his words of wisdom.

I love my country that's why I joined almost 10 yrs ago at the end of this Aug. But Loving your country and the people you serve is one thing. However I took my oath to obey the President of the United States no where in the oath does it say I have to like or even respect our leader. To know and see the things that Bush and Obama have done to this country makes me sick, i.e. CFR, Bilderburg Group,Trilateral Commission, Bohemian Grove.

I not only believe that our 10 oaths are true I believe they will be put to the test quite literally. I have until 25MAY11 then my enlistment is up then I will be getting out to hopefully go in to law enforcement or security. its one thing to say you will not follow the illegal and unconstitutional orders that will come down the chain, and still be in when they do. I do not want to be in the Navy when that happens.

Letter to My Son

I am a veteran. You can visit some of my work at http://www.restoretherepublic.org

My youngest son was in the Navy. He wanted to be a SEAL so prior to him going to training I made him a gift. As part of that gift I wrote the following in a letter to him in June of 2007:

Remember that the enemies of freedom are all around.

Remember that you have assumed the greatest responsibility called for by the Constitution.

Remember that good men have gone before you, and laid down their lives to continue this great experiment.

Remember to uphold your oath to defend, and protect the Constitution of the United States until the Good Lord relieves you of that duty.

"My soul is in my keeping. When I stand before God, I will not say that virtue was not convenient at the moment."
