Retired Firefighter and Airborne Vet

My name is Greg Bacon and I am a retired firefighter from the Columbia, MO FD, where I served over 20 years protecting the lives and property of Columbians.

I also served nearly two years in the US Army, "graduating" as an 11B4P with the 82nd Airborne at Ft. Bragg.

The oath I took upon entering is still valid to me and I plan on honoring that oath until I am no longer physically capable of doing so.

The greatest enemy the USA now faces is from within, not without. We are being fed a steady line of Bullshit about another ME country that is NO danger to us, but one that Neocons want to bomb to hell.

Another war would be a good distraction from all of those mini-nukes going off on Wall Street which is devastating Main Street. We should be rounding up the crooks, liars and con artists that stole trillions from American pension funds and 401K accounts, not launching another ME war.

Count me in as an "oath keeper" to my dying breath!

Airborne Korean War Era Veteran

In Feb. 1950 at the age of 17 I enlisted in the United States Army and took the oath to protect and defend the Constitution of these United States. Little did I know or understand at that time that the day would come that I would ever have to defend it against our own Government.

After I finished basic training I went to Ft. Benning, Georgia to take Airborne training. It was while in Airborne training that the Korean war broke out. After Airborne training I was sent to Ft. Bragg, North Carolina to the 82nd Airborne Division signal Company where I spent three years.
After discharge I returned home and Married a wonderful girl and now on the 27th of March 2009, we will celebrate our 55th wedding anniversary.

Thinking back over the years I have never forgotten my oath and am as committed today as I ever was to the Constitution. Its to bad that the people running our Government today do not understand what our forefathers stood for and had the courage to stand up against all those secret organizations that wish to destroy our Nation and its Constitution!

Thank you.

Testimonial of Desert Storm Airborne Combat Veteran

82nd. The "All Americans." Airborne All the Way!

It has been a number of years since I have been in uniform but I will never forget the oath that i took to defend this nation against ALL ENEMIES, FOREIGN AND DOMESTIC! and to UPHOLD THE AMERICAN CONSTITUTION with all it's benefits for the PEOPLE.

It is this nation that we serve under GOD and we must defend her from those who would try to abandon the dream of our founding fathers. Enough has been lost already it is now time to defend these borders and this land.
It is time to stop sacrificing our men and women for those who really do not give a damn about this nation or it's people.

I would like to say to those who wear this uniform, following orders that go against what our founding fathers believed in and were willing to die for is not American or patriotic.

Stand up against those who would use you to further their agenda and remember why you really are called AMERICAN SOLDIERS!

AIRBORNE ALL THE WAY!

Testimonial From Veteran of the 82nd Airborne and the SC National Guard

Fellow Oath Keepers:

I am Jyrell David Shedd Sr., 44y/o W/M who loves GOD, Family and Country (Mine is SC).

I am a Veteran of the 82nd Airborne Division 1/325 PIR where I served as an 11B and the SC National Guard 122nd Engineer BN (Combat) where I served as a 12 B Team Leader.

I am a Veteran of the Volunteer Fire Service -27 years, Retired EMT, Graduate of the SC Criminal Justice Academy and also am an Amatuer Radio Operator serving the public in times of emergency.

I took my oath of service in 1982 at 17 YOA. I did not not think about it then, just wanted to serve and do the right thing.Airborne! All the Way! "America's Guard of Honor."

Even then I already had an innate sense that something was amiss in our military. Now after many years of study and experience I see the "Clear and Present Danger" is a Federal Government that has been overtaken by the true enemy of freedom, and is poised to strike at the heart of our beloved Republic.

My oath was sworn to the American People (Not the U.N. or world) before GOD and it will be fulfilled.

'The enemy is inside the wire.'
WILL NOT BOW!!!
Jyrell D. Shedd Sr.
