NEVER GIVE UP

I first took the oath in 1956 when I joined the Navy. Then again in 1963 when I enlisted in the Army volunteering for the newly formed Special Forces.

Have eight years of active duty and almost 21 in the active reserve (all Special Forces), retiring in '96. My civilian job was a police officer on Torrance PD. So you see, I've taken the OATH many times.

My son, back from Afghanistan where he received a Bronze Star, Purple Heart and CIB is now getting ready for deployment to Iraq. He also is an OATH keeper and ready as I am to defend that OATH.

Thank you for all that you are doing and offering the opportunity to be a member of this proud group.

Never Give Up

I think I took my first oath in 1956 when I joined the Navy. Was an airdale, flying ecm missions over the North Atlantic. Then again when I enlisted in the Army and then numerous times with re-enlistments. Did eight years active and 20+ in the active reserve retiring in '96.

Also took the oath when I became a police officer retiring with 25 years.
I have always considered that oath sacred and will stand with others to defend it.
