Sheriff Richard Mack Will Be a Guest Speaker at the April 19, 2009 Rally On Lexington Green

We are pleased to announce that Sheriff Richard Mack, who's testimonial is below, will be a guest speaker at the rally on the Lexington Green, in Lexington Massachusetts this coming Sunday, April 19, 2009. That rally is sponsored by Committees of Safety, which in turn invited Oath Keepers to participate, including inviting me, Stewart Rhodes, to speak. I in turn invited all of you to come and join us in reaffirming your oath or to take the oath for the first time.

We then invited Sheriff Mack and Lt. Commander Cunningham (see below announcement) to attend and speak (and we may yet have some other surprise speakers and very special guests). In addition, Retired Navy SEAL Capt. Larry Bailey will assist in the oath ceremony.

Go here for a full description.

Sheriff Mack will be speaking on the obligation of law enforcement officers to keep their oaths to support and defend the U.S. Constitution as well as the constitution of their states. As is clear from his testimonial below, he is a man who understands what it means to use an officer's discretion, which is a key element in our system of liberty under law.

We are tremendously pleased to have Sheriff Mack among us, as a man who has demonstrated that he is most assuredly an oath keeper, and we are very honored to have him as a guest speaker at the rally on the Lexington Green this coming Sunday. Join us, stand with us, and take the oath with us on that sacred ground on that sacred day.

For the Republic!

Stewart Rhodes
Founder of Oath Keepers
