We, who have taken an oath to protect this document, can do no less.

I am William C Sankey Ret Msgt USAF. I was in the Air Force for 25 years. I have 2 tours in Vietnam. I volunteered for the 2nd tour. My brother was in the army and he was sent to Vietnam. I worked on C-123K. I saw too many army/marines going home in boxes. When I arrived in Vietnam, for my second tour, I contacted my brother and told him to tell his commander that his brother was also in Vietnam. I told him that if he did not, then I would contact his commander. He went back to the states. I out ranked my brother and I am older than he is. So he did what I told him to do.

When I took my oath there was no ending date. I feel that my oath is still in force. The Constitution is an important part of this country. Many have fought and died to protect this important document. We, who have taken an oath to protect this document, can do no less.

To "defend and protect" didn't end when I walked off the ship for the last time.

When I grew up Audie Murphy was my hero. I'm not forgetting Superman, but Audie was the real McCoy. Then Elvis went in and came out with an Honorable Discharge and a Good Conduct medal.

I joined the Navy and when I raised my right hand to take the OATH I was repeating the exact same words that Audie
and Elvis had. It was the proudest day of my life. To "defend and protect" didn't end when I walked off the ship for the last time.

It seems to me that my country is calling me again, to serve her, to "defend and protect" her constitution. I put my life on the line then, and I'm willing to do it again. I may not come back: a lot of those young men who stormed the beaches on D-Day didn't come back either. Think about it. I have. I took an oath once. One oath is all it takes. Count me in. I'm in it f
or the duration. So help me God.

You can count on this old Marine to have your 'six'.

I am a combat Marine and Vietnam Veteran. I last wore the uniform almost forty years ago, I was honorably discharged from my Marine Corps almost thirty-seven years back. I was never 'relieved' of the oath I swore to protect and defend country and Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic, nor have I ever desired to be.

I applaud this initiative, and will do all in my power to support it.

You can count on this old Marine to have your 'six'.

USMC warrior and former police officer

I am a Viet Nam veteran with 1st Recon Bn., 1st Marine Division; a six-year USMC warrior and former police officer. As a student of history, I KNOW that the conspiratorial theory of government is NOT a theory but FACT; and the FACT is that the government/banking/internationalist elitists are actively planning and putting into place the total destruction of our Republic.

My question to all my brother Marines, active, veteran, retired – whatever: Are you going to honor your oath and what our Corps stands for, or are you going to meekly “follow orders”? Does “Semper Fidelis” mean always faithful to the traitorous, worthless political bastards or always faithful to the Constitution?

I am 60 years old and realize that most of my life is over. I am settled with the fact that I will not survive the coming confrontation. I also KNOW that I will take as many of the modern day Gestapo with me as I can. I WILL NOT ALLOW MY FAMILY TO LIVE AS SLAVES, NOT WHILE I LIVE. I WILL NOT GO QUIETLY!

May God Bless America – what we were, not what we are!

Please add me to your list of membership. I am 56 now, in fighting shape and will never follow orders that will hurt my fellow Americans or make a mockery of our constitution.

Nor will I permit others to do so without facing me in the fight of their lives! Live Free or Die and God Bless America and her People.

Testimonial of Vietnam Combat Veteran, Purple Heart Recipient, and Member of Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association, Hamilton "Bombdog" Horseman

How can I help? I am just sick with the direction that MY nation is taking... My Grand Father and Father and myself have all given blood in battle for our Nation. I served two tours 66'67'68' with The 9th inf. division. I am also 100% disabled from injuries of that conflict.

To see politicos who have no idea or had any family who served this country now in charge is a crime.
I feel like I do not have any representation in this government, I have watched the socialist agenda carried on during my lifetime.. starting with taking God or any concept of God out of everything.

This is a travesty.

Hamilton "Bombdog" HorsemanNOTE: Below is the moving tribute video about the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association that Hamilton sent in with his testimonial. We are honored to call Hamilton a fellow Oath Keeper, and we welcome all of his brothers from CVMA to send in testimonials and to join us. God bless them all!

Proud Vietnam Veteran Joins the Ranks

Greetings, Oath Keepers

Your organization is the first encouraging news I've come across in many years. I've watched our wonderful country slide into a deplorable state, controlled by interests that have nothing to do with the fine ideals upon which it was founded. As a proud veteran I gladly and willingly wish to join your ranks to stand proudly by your side to defend our constitution - the constitution the past presidential impostor called, "just a goddamn piece of paper."

I was attached to the US Army Support Command, in Qui Nhon, occasionally tdy to the 93rd MP battalion and an engineer's battalion. Again, I salute you people who have the courage to stand firm in these troubled times. The speed this organization is growing speaks volumes about how many men and women are out there who refuse to accept the direction America seems to be heading.

I'm passing your blog on to everyone I know, and will continue to check in to read the great comments men and women are posting. Again, this is encouraging news.
