Active Duty Federal Agent and Marine Veteran

As a Federal Law Enforcement Officer, I can tell you that many of us know why we are doing this job. We understand what our purpose is. We know it's not to, "Blindly follow those that our Destroying our Country!" I wish I could say that was true of all, but that's o.k., for those are usually the ones lacking discipline, moral values, and the like. They are politically minded and will be easily enough to spot. Do not Fear!!!

As a US Marine and as a Federal Agent, I have taken the oath more than a few times. Each and every time has been more memorable than the first. I swore to support and defend the United States of America against all enemies foreign and domestic.
For a long while now I have been thinking that this country is on the decline from the once great nation it was. I can't stand bye and just let this happen.

I swore an oath to do what is right, and with that, I will not do what is wrong.

That is my Oath!

I take my oath seriously

I am a former Navy Chief Petty Officer and Army National Guard SFC (retired). Like so many here, I take my oath seriously. I am still subject to call up and plan to do whatever is necessary to keep my oath, and the oath of an Oath Keeper. I have passed this on to my fellow shipmates from ships I served on, as well as fellow veterans and ARNG personnel I served with.

I have long believed that our oath is a "Bi-Partate" oath, and the primary part of the oath, "I, Mark Pfeiffer, do solemnly swear to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, both foreign and domestic, and to bear true faith and allegiance to the same" was pre-eminent to the secondary part of the oath, "to obey the orders of the president and officers appointed over me".

If those orders are unconstitutional, then we are
required by our oath to oppose them, even to the point of whatever it takes, if necessary. Just as a law enforcement officer (I was that, too) knows that citizens have the right to oppose what amounts to malfeasance, that is illegal actions by those in authority under the color of law, even to the point of using force if necessary.

I am honored and proud to stand beside my brothers and sisters in and out of uniform who believe our Constitution is worth honoring and standing/fighting for. I am also honored to be able to take the Oath Keepers Oath as well.

I love God, My Family, and America

Retired LEO... I will not tolerate any type of tyranny or the yoke that goes with it, to be placed on me or my family.
I will not tolerate any type of abuse aimed at my family, me, or my country.
I love God, My Family, and America (the real America) and will defend all three to the end if need be. So to answer your question.

I will stand with the Oath Keepers!!!

Sheriff Richard Mack Gives His Testimonial

Justify Full
It was 1983, a beautiful fall day, early in the evening evening. I was sitting in my patrol cruiser facing North just a short 50 feet or so from a four-way stop intersection at 600 W 300 S. I was making a few notes on my daily activity report when a lady ran the stop sign going Eastbound. She was very occupied with four or five kids who seemed to be giving her fits. She seemingly did not realize she had gone through the sign and did not do so intentionally. She looked over at me and threw her arms up in the air as if to say, "what else could go wrong today?"

She immediately pulled over. I didn't even have to turn on my red and blues. I walked up to her car, a beat up old Datsun compact station wagon, and she already had her license and registration handed out the driver's window. It was way obvious this lady was having a bad day and I was certainly not making it any better. Her kids were still fighting and crying and being quite unruly. It didn't matter anymore. She was shutting them out completely and was simply staring through the windshield wondering why she had ever been born, or so it seemed. I started right in with my work. This ticket was going to be easy; heck she wasn't even putting up a fight. She never uttered a word.
I was just about about to sign my name to the citation when I paused momentarily. I looked down at this cruddy old car, it couldn't have been worth $400, I looked down at those snotty nosed kids still screaming, I looked at this discouraged and depressed woman... and then I looked at me!

It was the most penetrating gaze I had ever
experienced in my life! I asked myself a few questions, "Mack, is there anything that you are doing here that's helping this lady and her family? Is there anything that you're doing that's making this a better town to live in? And is there anything that you are that's bringing honor to the badge that's pinned to your chest?"
I knew the answers all
too well, and now I was discouraged. In fact, I was completely overcome by shame and guilt. So much so that I handed the lady her license and registration and just walked away. I mean I said absolutely nothing to her. I couldn't have taken it if she had thanked me for anything! So I got back in my patrol car and drove lethargically back to the police station where I tore that ticket into a thousand pieces and threw them in the briefing room trash can, something that was clearly against policy.

The next day I came back to work early and headed right to the city clerk's office. I honestly had no idea what was directing me to her office or what I was looking for. Yet, I asked the clerk for a copy of my oath of office. I really don't know why, I had never given my oath a second thought. She made me a copy and I saw that I had signed it and it was dated the day I started my job as a Police Officer. "I, Richard Mack, do solemnly swear or affirm, that I will faithfully protect, defend, and obey the United States Constitution and the Constitution of the State of Utah..."
These words began to ring in my mind
and now I was more depressed than I was the day before when I had my epiphany with the lady and her kids. Man, what a no good hypocrite I was! I had never even read the Constitution. I took an oath I never had any concern whatsoever about keeping!
I signed
that oath to get a job and a paycheck. It meant nothing more to me than that. I reached my hand up to my chest and touched the silver starred badge which hung on my shirt. I knew that I had to turn it in and quit my job. There was no way I could keep my job and career as a peace officer. Then I stopped and realized that I did not need to quit my job, just quit being a liar and a hypocrite. I felt so relieved! I did not have to quit my job!

Right after briefing I drove home and grabbed the World Book Encyclopedia and took it with me on patrol. I read the Constitution every second I was not busy with anything else. I loved it, especially the Bill Of Rights. It was amazing and easy to understand. I promised myself that I would never violate the principles in this document of American Liberty, that I would always keep my sacred oath to uphold, defend, and preserve the United States Constitution, and that no matter what it cost me, that I WOULD NEVER BE ON THE WRONG SIDE AGAIN!

82nd ABN Division (Desert Storm) Current Law Enforcement Officer (15 years)

Fellow Oath Keepers,

I humbly greet you and pray that all is well with you and yours.

Our country is in peril and because of this I write with a heavy heart. I would much rather meet with all of you in happier times and discuss happier thoughts.

Everyday I read the news of our government coming up with new ways to trample upon our constitution and rob us of our liberty. Devious men have conspired against humanity and more particularly against the American people. These same people have conspired against our sovereignty since our great republic’s birth. They have eroded our national sovereignty, through the League of Nations, United Nations, World Bank, IMF, etc., with the intent of establishing a world-wide kingdom for themselves. At first they worked slowly and deliberately in the shadows, but now seem to be working at a feverish pitch to complete their work. They have corrupted our politicians through greed, deceit and intrigue.

For over one hundred years they have been trashing the constitution. Through deceit they passed the Federal Reserve Act, which is in violation of the constitution. This same Federal Reserve System, which has nothing to do with the federal govt., is looting the treasury and robbing our children of their future.

They tax us and then hold our tax dollars ransom unless we agree to go along with their socialist agenda. They dumb down our children with programs such as, “No child left behind” – so that all children will be left behind. This seems a perfect plan as a less educated person is definitely more easily controlled.

They trick our pastors, rabbis and preachers into incorporating (IRS 501c3) so that the government too can control them. No longer can a pastor preach his heart due to the fear that the church’s “tax exemption status” will be revoked. Of course, the church is no longer a church because they have been duped into incorporating – the govt. no longer regulates religion – rather they regulate a corporation!

Presently, these same shadow figures and their cohorts in Washington plot against the people with all kinds of legislation that is contrary to the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights. Legislation pertaining to gun control (H.R. 45), freedom of speech and religion (H.R. 1913 and H.R. 256) are currently being considered. The govt. is also involved in all manner of collusion with the United Nations in treaties which erode our national and individual sovereignty such as the United Nations Human Rights Treaty – which limits a parents right to teach their children religion, teach morals, discipline, and home school.

Oath Keepers, we need to unite and form grass roots efforts to take back our God given and natural rights provided for and protected by our Constitution and Bill of Rights. We must be like a marathon runner, having stamina, as this will be a long battle. We must educate our family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, and community about these issues. We must get our churches to un-incorporate. We must petition our State Govt. to uphold the Constitution even if the Federal Govt. refuses and with any degree of Providence we will succeed in restoring our republic to its former glory.

Oath Keepers Unite!

Respectfully,

KM

Ret. Peace Officer Stands by the Constitution

I am a retired, career law enforcement officer. I have a total of 38 years of combined law enforcement and military experience. As a law enforcement officer, I have sworn to defend the United States Constitution.

At this chilling time in our history our Constitution is being shredded by the administration and the Congress, and all of our Constitutional rights are in jeopardy.

A "grassroots" organization, such as Oath Keepers, can continue to organize and grow and, through education, convince law enforcement and military personnel never to use any unconstitutional authority against their fellow Americans.
