Please add me to the list of veterans, police officers, firemen and other public servants who have reaffirmed their oath to defend those individual rights guaranteed by our founding documents.
I consider my oath to "support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic" to be a lifelong commitment, and even though I am no longer on active duty, I am obligated to stand with the people whenever local, state or federal governments act to undermine those self-evident rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness as enumerated in the Declaration of Independence, U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights.
