Teenage Cadet Promises to Keep his Oath

Sir I am Cadet Corporal Carroll acting 1ST Sergeant in the United States Army Cadet Corps.

In the past 16 years I have been alive I have seen more and more restrictions put on the American people by their own government.

I was scared to think that when I enlist I could be forced to serve a dictator and our constitution thrown aside. I am proud that a group like this was formed so that our troops know that they have a choice and to remind them of that oath.

I teach Army Cadets and though I may not be old enough to have a serious say in a lot of my surroundings but I can make people think. I will make sure that I will remind my cadets of the oath they will soon take and what that means, and also to those who have served and are serving. If I can be of any help please ask of it.

P.S. I have heard from an old colonel from 1st division that Army central command talks much about the oath and that the idea of constitution vs. president fills their voices and thoughts a great deal of the time.

That there are young people like you, and older people like the others posting here gives me some hope. I fear very bad times ahead for our country. May God bless and keep you all.

You and those like you who are young and in their formative years, are the key to Oath Keepers! I cannot wait until the day that I come across a young soldier or police officer, and I flash the "O.K." sign and get it right back...soon...very soon!!
