Army Veteran Stands by his Oath
I am a retired U.S. Army Infantry NCO (SFC/E7) platoon sergeant and I have been stating for many months that I took an oath when I first enlisted back in 1975 and that no one told me I was no longer bound by that oath when I retired.
That oath was to protect and DEFEND the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and DOMESTIC, so help me God.
I intend to do just that, as this is not the country I intended to bequeath to my sons and grandchildren. It is extremely refreshing to know their is an organization which supports my beliefs - please count me in as a member.
Sincerely,
Jonathan L. Hughes
SFC, USA (ret)
